Torah Umesorah Meeting on June 8th

An important planning meeting for the Dworkin Holocaust Institute took place at the Walder Education Pavilion of Torah Umesorah on June 8th, 2009. Some of the VIPs who attended were: Rabbi Shalom Friedman, Rabbi Yaakov Rajchenbach, Mr. Alan Dworkin, Rabbi Dovid Nojowitz, and Rabbi Yehoshua Levey.

SMARTBoard Classes

SMARTBoard classes have been packed with teachers since we started offering them this spring. We are currently offering Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced classes to meet all teacher's needs. Feel free to call and sign up for a class. There's no time like the present!

Marna Nitekman is leading a four part workshop, “Enhancing Second Language Instruction for Teachers of Ivrit, Yiddish, and other Languages,” geared for middle and high school language teachers. The first two session have already been presented. These events were received with overwhelming positive feedback by both middle and high school teachers from the various area day schools as well as a teacher from a Jewish Therapeutic Day School. The next two sessions are scheduled for July 14th and 21st.
